03 · CBD compound library

Cannabinoids we quantify.

Common failure modes by compound, drawn from public industry surveillance and USP monograph data. The point isn't a number — it's knowing where adulteration risk concentrates so your testing scope covers it.

Cannabidiol (CBD)
C₂₁H₃₀O₂ · MW 314.46
Low risk
Label-claim match. Isolate typically ≥ 98 %; broad-spectrum 60–80 %.
Δ9-Tetrahydrocannabinol
C₂₁H₃₀O₂ · MW 314.46
Medium risk
Farm Bill ceiling. ~7 % of hemp crude exceeds 0.3 % dry weight.
Cannabigerol (CBG)
C₂₁H₃₂O₂ · MW 316.48
Low risk
Minor cannabinoid. Full-spectrum claims commonly over-state CBG content.
Cannabinol (CBN)
C₂₁H₂₆O₂ · MW 310.43
Medium risk
Oxidation product. Rising CBN = aged or degraded flower.
Δ8-THC
C₂₁H₃₀O₂ · MW 314.46
High risk
Converted product. Frequent contamination with Δ9 and unknowns.
Cannabichromene (CBC)
C₂₁H₃₀O₂ · MW 314.46
Medium risk
Non-psychoactive minor. Useful full-spectrum authenticity marker.
04 · Compliance

2018 Farm Bill. USP. State action lists.

Compliance is the whole product with hemp. Our methods and reports map 1:1 to the regulations your buyer or retailer will cite.

7 CFR §990
2018 Farm Bill — Total Δ9-THC

Hemp defined as Cannabis sativa L. with total Δ9-THC ≤ 0.3 % on a dry-weight basis. We report post-decarboxylation total THC ((THCA × 0.877) + Δ9-THC) with a signed analyst attestation.

USP <467>
Residual solvents

Class 1 (benzene, CCl4) at ppm; Class 2 (hexane, methanol) at concentration limits; Class 3 (ethanol) at 5,000 ppm. Our GC-MS HS method covers all three classes in a single run.

USP <232>
Elemental impurities

Oral product PDE limits for Pb, Cd, As, Hg. Ingested CBD products often fail Pb from soil uptake in phytoremediation-bred hemp.

CA + OR action lists
Pesticide action levels

Oregon 59-analyte + California's 66-analyte pesticide action-list at state LOQ. Passing these passes the rest of the US market by extension.

Yes. Δ8-THC and Δ10-THC are quantified in our core 16-cannabinoid panel. HHC, THCP, and THCO are available as a la carte add-ons at $45 each. Converted-cannabinoid products get an extra impurity screen (olivetol, unknowns) for +$95.

Get the COA that closes the sale.

Brokers want compliance attestation. Retailers want the full panel. You get both on one receipt, priced under the market.
